April 27, 2005: Calla, Cloud Room & Seedy Gonzalez
A few nights ago I went to the Satellite Soundtrack Party at the Knitting Factory. The first two bands, Cloud Room (the third shot) and Seedy Gonzalez (the fourth shot), were fine but forgettable. However, Calla was ridiculous! Even though most of the songs that they played were from an album that won't be released until this summer (thus I had never heard), they sounded amazing. If you haven't heard Televise yet, check it out, and look out for their new album this summer.
These shots are in black & white and are grainy because the lighting was poor and I had to use infrared on my Powershot. After not being admitted to the Black Crowes show with the 20D, I only use the Powershot at concerts.
