April 18, 2005: St. Marks Silhouettes
Walking across St. Marks Place (a/k/a hell) back from Grupo the other night, the street was incredibly bright. After speaking to one of the many production assistants on the street [Unrelated: What do PA's do, anyway?], I learned a Lindsay Lohan music video or film was being filmed. Anyway, there was a big screen on the side of the street, probably to be used for lighting purposes. Because it was so late, as people walked the screen, silhouettes were created.
Unrelated: If you have a chance, check out the Diane Arbus Revelations exhibition at the Met. And if you are able to avoid the crowds and see it on a weekday, it would be even better.
