April 05, 2005: Star Wars Geek Fest 2
The majority of the people inside Toys 'R Us were grown adults who still lived in their parent's basement. People were running around the entire store, looking for their favorite action figures -- toys in the bins and shelves were tossed around as the geeks looked for their booty. One of the funniest moments of the evening was when an employee made an announcement that the Darth Vader action figure was sold, a very loud sign and "oh!" came from most patrons. It didn't seem to stop them though; they kept on searching for the Dark One, thinking that a miscounted one had been left behind.
Note: the last two shots are life-size creations of Darth Vader & Chubacca made by Legos. Now that's dedication.
