March 07, 2005: Oscar Meyer Wienermobile
There I was, waiting for a crosstown bus on 34th Street to get to Javits Center to meet Rachel for the Travel Expo. All of sudden, from out of nowhere, appeared The Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.
I really don't think that it is possible to see a Weiner Mobile without immediately smiling and/or laughing. Maybe it is a sense of nostalgia; maybe it is the kid in me; or maybe it is because a wiener 11 feet high (24 hotdogs high), and 27 feet in length (60 hotdogs long) stands out in the middle of a city.
[Unrelated: Erik, who just got back from his month long excursion in China, has lent me his 20D so I can see what I am getting myself into. Although it is the heaviest camera I have ever used, it love hearing the click of the shutter closing when I take a shot.]
