October 06, 2004: Parents Taking A Picture of Their Daughter
In case you cannot tell what is going on, the father is on the left, bent at his waist, trying to get his daughter to pose. The mother is on the right, kneeling on one knee, trying to take a picture of the daughter (who is in the middle).
This photograph is blurry because I didn't want to use the flash, so I slowed down the shutter speed so more light could come in. However, the subject was not steady (nor were my hands).
I wasn't sure which version of this photograph was better -- the top is the original; the bottom is after I used Photoshop -- so I posted both.
[Unrelated: I saw The Kings of Leon at Bowery last night. They were great. Their new album, which will be released in February, will have some really good tracks. I am glad that the show went well, so I could get The Killers concert (otherwise known as "a big waste of $28") out of my mind.]
